Her debut Know It All album in the same year. The third single, Scars to Your Beautiful was among five tracks that made it to the top charts on Billboard including Canadian Albums Chart Billboard 200 in addition to Billboard Hot 100. The song was particularly memorable because it was based on an interview with the Rap-Up show, many fans were inspired by her story of self-doubt, and her journey to learn how to be a better person. Cara is known for incorporating messages about mental health compassion and self-love in her music. The music she sings is reflective of her own personal struggles with mental illness and insomnia. According to a Reuters Interview, her album was described as half tumultuous half perfected. Therapy helped her grow and advises people to seek help if necessary. Alessia Cara, a Canadian musician was born in Canada on 11 July 1996 of Italian parents of Italian descent. Her parents gifted her with an instrument when she was 10 and this brought her to music. She started covering her favorite songs when she was 13, to prove to the world she could sing and had the courage necessary to be the next singer. Sweater Weather became her most famous song. A record label, EP Entertainment, noticed her and allowed her to write songs.
